I'm not going to divulge the spring specifications that I have arrived at because to do so would only confuse someone that's attempting to DIY -- there isn't an off the shelf spring that's available to do the job. Suffice it to say that there is plenty of oil pressure on tap to get full advance when the VTCs are activated.
You, of all people, should know the value associated with a finely developed product. You mentioned that neither you nor Tyler could justify $500 for a set of upgraded VTCs. I will admit that I do make a profit from these but that is what drives innovation (I know that you know this) and that profit has barely scratched the surface of my monetary and time investment in this product. What everyone is buying with their $475 is peace of mind that the product has been fully tested and does everything it was designed to do without cause for questioning it.
